Our Retrofit to rent model

  • Buy.

    We buy portfolios of existing housing stock, usually from landlords who are looking to exit the private rental sector.

    We are active buyers of 2- and 3-bed freehold homes. Our current target markets are Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds.

  • Retrofit.

    We retrofit our homes for 100% electric operation. Usually this is achieved through the installation of a heatpump and through upgrading insulation, doors and windows.

    In addition, we bring the entire home up to our ‘Kintree standard’. In essence, this means creating a high quality modern home that we would aspire to live in ourselves.

  • Rent.

    By making better use of existing housing stock, Kintree can provide homes that are better located, more spacious and more affordable than brand new ‘build to rent’ homes.

    Re-using is also much kinder to the planet than building new.

    Our homes are rented to individuals, couples and families through trusted service providers.
